11 month old teak tree

Plants certainly grow quickly in Naturewalk, Costa Rica.

Here is Stefan Bryant, the Naturewalk Forestry Engineer, standing beside an 11 month old teak tree.

This tree was 18 inches high 11 months ago when it was transplanted from the Naturewalk nursery.

Just look at it now!

International Day of Forests - 21st March 2013

The United Nations General assembly has proclaimed 21 March the International Day of Forests. From 2013, the day will be observed each year to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of forests and trees to all life on earth. (Ref.0003/en)
