The squash in Naturewalk has started to fruit:

Squash in Naturewalk

One of the crops currently being tested for growth and export is Squash. There are two varieties growing Spanish and Kabocha. You can see the  squash being planted just a few weeks ago here

Planting squash in Naturewalk

One of the crops grown for export to the USA in Naturewalk is squash. There are two main varieties grown - Butternut and Kabocha. This is a quick growing crop and requires significant maintenance and lots of irrigation.

Ayote in the Naturewalk Farm Center

The Naturewalk Farm Center is an agricultural hub for the surrounding farms and provides cleaning and packing facilities for farmers in the area.

In the pictures below a local farmer is preparing Ayote (squash / pumpkin) for shipment and sale in the Naturewalk Farm Center.

Naturewalk has planted some Ayote and Naturewalk own produced Ayote will be available this year.
