Title Insurance- what is it and what does it really mean?

But what is title insurance and what does it really mean for you?

Title insurance is and indemnity insurance against financial loss from defects in title (the paperwork relating to land ownership) to real property (in NatureWalk's case the land) and from the invalidity or unenforceability of mortgage liens.

The purpose of title insurance is to protect an owner's or a lender's financial interest in real property against loss due to title defects, liens or other matters. It will defend against a lawsuit attacking the title as it is insured, or reimburse the insured for the actual monetary loss incurred, up to the dollar amount of insurance provided by the policy.

The bottom line as an investor in NatureWalk, is that the Chicago Title Insurance gives you the securoty of knowing that you are definitely getting what you are investing in.
